Michael Mackinnon is a qualified property valuer and the head of Suburbanite’s Property Investment & Acquisitions team in Perth. With over 10 years’ experience working at some of Australia’s largest valuation firms, Michael brings deep technical expertise in property value, market dynamics, and risk assessment.

He also has hands on experience in property management, giving him a strong understanding of what makes a property attractive to tenants.

Based in WA, Michael combines local market knowledge with high level advisory capability to help investors make smart, strategic property decisions.

Unlike other firms, Suburbanite, never work for developers, and do not sell developer stock. So, you can be sure that the advice is independent and we’re always looking after your best interests. Our policy is that we do not give or receive kickbacks at any time. This differs from some firms who source investment properties through developers – in other words, they are paid by the developer to sell the property.

Suburbanite understand every investor is different. Some firms develop just one strategy,

then sell that to all their investors, but we do not believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to investing.
